Im wondering if anyone has any idea of the cheapest car models in the uk at the moment ? Looking for a new car not a second hand one

Even though its kind of a stupid car I think so anyway!, the Ford KA is cheap and cheerful. I would recommend the Nissan Note - okay, it's not exactly the cheapest car - it costs about Â£18, 000, but it's a really good car with loads of room in the front and back, electric everything, tables on the backs of the back seats and the front seats lift up for extra storage. It has lots of little hidden storage areas and compartments and goes quite fast and runs smoothly. If I could recommend a car for you to buy, it would be this one! I hope this helps! = x
The Perodua Kenari or Chevrolet Matiz list at around Â£6, 300, but you'd have to be completely out of your mind to buy either new: You'd lose Â£5, 000 on each alone in 3 years' depreciation, aside from any other costs. With the current scrappage scheme, you can pick up a Fiat Panda for Â£5, 100 new, but again, very poor reliability & catastrophic depreciation mean it's just not worth it

And although it is a Fiat it has Ford Engines as they now own Alfa and Fiat and is sitting on an adapted new Vauxhall corsa Ch is. i've just bought one and it is brilliant n problems and is lovely to drive with lots of kit as standard and is one of the most safest cars on the road but if you don't mind not having Central Locking and Elec Windows then the Citroen C1 is your best bet and it has a Toyota engine so is Though too. ! I think that the cheapest new car around at the moment is the Perodua Kelisa, around Â£5100. but with this new scrappage scheme, the cars that are cheapest are the small fiats, peugoets and citroens, around Â£4500
